Standing at the start line of the Race Across Germany means, for many, facing the greatest challenge of their lives – while others take part to officially prove what their body and mind are truly capable of. Along the countless small roads Germany has to offer, every participant writes their own personal story – on two wheels, kilometre by kilometre, often over several intense days filled with experiences far from everyday life. For some, it’s about pushing beyond limits: endurance, discipline, and the relentless drive to reach the finish line at maximum speed. For others, it’s about living in the moment: the quiet joy of the route, the rhythm of the pedals, time just for themselves and the ride. Whoever takes on this challenge becomes part of a unique community of endurance athletes – part of Germany’s largest ultracycling family, and perhaps something even greater!
